The "art experts" claim that this is a fake.
Thode in 1912 compared it to the statue
and found differences like the postion of the wax model's left leg.
But this could possibly be a real Michelangelo, as several of his other models in the Von Praun Collection, do not mirror his sculptures. However, it is hard to judge as this is a poor photograph to examine. This model needs to be re-evaluated by the experts. |
